Pioneer Day

As far as I know, we had yet another successful Pioneer Day in Smartsville and Timbuctoo.

I served as a tour guide for three tours of Timbuctoo, and I could have led at least one more tour, the demand was so great.

After talking with Kathy, it seems that between 800 and 1,000 people (at any one time) attended this latest Pioneer Day.

On the tours I led, people asked a lot of great questions, and seemed genuinely interested in the gold rush town of Timbuctoo. This made the experience extremely rewarding for me.

I'm looking forward to the next Pioneer Day. I'm also thinking of posting more about the day. Maybe this account is Facebook-worthy?

My apologies for taking so long to respond to you!

I'm going to put you in touch with Kathy Smith. She's one of the producers of Pioneer Day, and can give you some ideas.

I mostly lead the tours of Timbuctoo for Pioneer Day.

Thanks for your message.

Best,

Lane
